Q: I’m having trouble logging in on the Chrome Extension, what can I do?
A: When logging in, you MUST log in with the same credentials you signed up with. For example, if you signed up for Bitmoji via Snapchat, you must sign in with your Snapchat credentials -NOT with the email associated with your Snapchat account.

Forgot your password? You can change your password by following these steps:
- If you created your Bitmoji account using an email address instead of your Snapchat login, request a password reset at this page.
- If you created your Bitmoji account using Snapchat, please follow the directions to reset your password on Snapchat Support.
Q: I don't have a Bitmoji, how do I create a Bitmoji account to use on the Chrome Extension?
A: In order to use the Bitmoji Chrome Extension, you first have to create an account. There are two ways to create an account.
The first way is to simply download the Bitmoji mobile app on your mobile device and select 'Create Avatar' to get started.
You can download the latest version of the app on your phone from the Play Store or the App Store.
The second way you can sign up for a Bitmoji account is by following these steps:
- Navigate to Bitmoji.com and click on ‘Go to my account’
- Click on ‘Sign Up’ to create a new Bitmoji account
If you are unable to sign up with your email, you may already have an account! Please follow the instructions to sign in to your account.
Please note: if you don’t meet the minimum age requirement, you won’t be able to use Bitmoji 🙅♀️🙅♂️
Q: I see a different avatar on Chrome than on my mobile device, what can I do?
A: If you see the wrong avatar on your Chrome extension, try the following steps to ensure you are signed in to the same account as your mobile device:
- Log out of the Bitmoji Chrome Extension by clicking on the exit icon at the top right corner of the extension window
- If you are signed in with Snapchat, log out of accounts.snapchat.com
- Close and re-open your Chrome browser
- Log back in with the same credentials you used on the mobile app*

When logging in, you MUST log in with the same credentials you signed up with. For example, if you signed up for Bitmoji via Snapchat, you must select 'Log In with Snapchat'. These login methods are not interchangeable!
Q: I want to use my Bitmoji avatar for school but my school blocks Snapchat. What can I do?
A: Please note that when logging in, you MUST log in with the same credentials you signed up with in order to access an avatar you have already created!
If you are unable to sign in using your Snapchat login, you can create a new account using your email address. There are two ways to create an account.
The first way is to simply download the Bitmoji mobile app on your mobile device and select 'Create Avatar' to get started.
