Bring your mini-me to your favourite apps by connecting your Bitmoji account to Flipgrid, Kahoot!, ClassDojo, Canva, Venmo and more!
Q: How do I connect my Bitmoji account to another app?
A:There are two ways to connect your Bitmoji account on a third-party app, via logging in with your account or by scanning a QR code.
After you select ‘Connect Bitmoji’ on the third-party app, you may see a login page that allows you to enter your Bitmoji account credentials to connect your accounts.
Please note: When signing in, use the same credentials you signed up with. For example, if you signed up for Bitmoji via Snapchat, please sign in via Snapchat, NOT with the email associated with your Snapchat account. These login methods are not interchangeable. Check out this article on downloading your Bitmoji data if you are unsure what sign up method you used to create your account.
You can also connect your Bitmoji account using a QR code. The steps to link your accounts will vary depending on whether you are accessing the third-party app from your phone or computer.
📣You will need your phone and the latest version of the Bitmoji app to complete the process. Update to the latest version from the App Store or Play Store.
Connect your accounts by following these steps:
On your phone:
- Go to the third-party application, then select ‘Connect Bitmoji’
- If you are logged in, you will be brought to the Bitmoji app to finish the connection
On your computer:
- Go to the third-party application, then select ‘Connect Bitmoji’
- Scan the QR code on the next page to automatically link your Bitmoji
- From your phone, open your device camera
- Scan the QR code and you will be brought to the Bitmoji app to finish the connection
If you are not logged in to Bitmoji, you will be prompted to download the app and log in before you can connect your accounts. Check out this support article for help recovering your Bitmoji account.
Please note: If you are an iPhone user on iOS 12 and earlier, your device may not support QR code scanning or require a QR code reader application. You may have to manually enable QR Code scanning from your Camera.

For example, you shouldn’t ever be asked to provide a third-party app with your login information and password!
